TE2 was founded in 2010 to address the growing need for high-performance HVAC systems that are Comfortable, Quiet, and promote healthy Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Terra Design-Build provides residential and light commercial design services for renovations, additions, adaptive reuse, new homes, building evaluations, and energy consultations. Our guiding principles are to use sustainable design principles, seek out earth-friendly material choices, and reduce fossil fuel use and carbon emissions. Owner/Architect Wendy Brown, AIA, has been involved in Berkshire County building since she started as a drafter for BETNR Construction at age 15 back in the 1980s. She's licensed in Massachusetts and Vermont. We prefer to have the Owner, Architect, and Contractor work as a team for collaborative results.

The Green Engineer, Inc. is a sustainable design consulting firm specializing in energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions for the built environment. Founded in 2005 by Christopher Schaffner, PE, LEED Fellow, the firm currently has a staff of 26, with 24 LEED-accredited professionals. Our team members consist of sustainability consultants and building performance analysts. Our expert team brings to the table experience and perspective from a variety of backgrounds, including engineering, architecture, construction, planning, development, and public policy. In addition to the NESEA, the firm is a USGBC member organization. A licensed, LEED-credentialed architect, Turett is also an active member of ADPSR, which works for peace, environmental protection, ecological building, and social justice.

Mr. MacLean is an architect, educator, and licensed builder who began his career as a project manager with a number of large architectural firms in Boston before he started his own firm, Timeless Architecture, in 1988. He has been promoting and teaching green design for 35 years, beginning with the Boston Society for Architecture, where he served as co-chair of the Committee on the Environment (COTE), a sub-committee that promotes sustainable design in the New England Region. He has taught and developed ongoing curricula at the Boston Architectural College, Sustainable Design Institute, and Master’s program, as well as Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Treehouse Design was founded in 1990 to provide architectural and construction management services for the needs of the vibrant, historically rich coastal communities of Cape Ann. Our company employs 20 individuals with a broad range of skills and experience, from architects and interior designers to construction managers and cabinet makers. Our office and workshop are based in Rockport, MA, where we take on a variety of residential projects. Our core focus is the design and construction of custom single-family homes, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, climate resilience, and enduring craftsmanship.
